2018 Compton Unified School District High School Graduations Celebrate Compton Scholar Achievements

This year’s Compton Unified School District High School Graduation ceremony was outstanding! • College Acceptance: 200% increase in college acceptance

• Received WASC Accreditation
• Other Great News: -  Thurgood Marshall Graduate Isaiah Cooperis the youngest African American to pilot an airplane across the continental United States at the age of 16. Isaiah has been accepted to: Tuskegee, Texas State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida State University and Michigan State University
  -  Chavez Centennial Graduate Amarion Martin, through the Social Justice Learning Institutes’ BLOOM (Building a Lifetime of Options and Opportunities) Program, earned an all-expense paid trip to South Africa where he will spend two weeks exploring various countries on the continent.
