Congratulations to Laurel Street Elementary students Allari G., Danny M., and Jason S., winners of the school’s Flip Grid contest, held recently to celebrate the school’s recent distribution of over 150 iPads to 6th - 8th grade students. The iPads, complete with 30 gigs of wireless internet access, are a part of the Verizon Learning grant the school was awarded, along with eleven (11) other CUSD schools.
The contest challenged students to use iPad technology to express how they feel about receiving the iPad from Verizon, as well as appreciation. They had the freedom to be as creative as they want to be.
Below are the winning video submissions—congratulations to these great Laurel Street Elementary innovators!
