As the gates opened this morning at Whaley Middle School, Compton Students district wide returned to school.

For many it was a new beginning while others picked up where they left off the school year prior.

From nervous Kindergarteners, curious, shy, Freshmen, to anxiety stricken middle school parents whose children have become teens right before their eyes, the first day of school is a day to be remembered.
