Dec 13, 2018

McKinley’s second graders went through the security & TSA @ LAX and hopped on a Delta Plane and “jetted” to the North Pole. Students were greeted by more than 100 volunteers (LA Kings, LA Lakers, Disney actors & Delta flight attendants and pilots), and spent the day playing hockey with Jack Campbell from LA Kings, shooting hoops with AC Green (Lakers), creating model airplanes with pilots and VP of Delta Airlines.

At the end of the day, each of our students received 2 large bags full of toys and another gift of their choice from Santa.

Many thanks to Delta Airlines and Turnaround Arts for this amazing holiday experience and for bringing holiday cheer to our bright McKinley students.
