Los Angeles – March 20, 2018 -  Over 9,000 Compton Unified School District students in 300 classrooms are receiving colorful school supplies from the school supply company Yoobi. To launch the distribution of the Classroom Packs, Yoobi Chief Giving Officer, Justin Wolff and Actor Mack Wilds from “The Wire” and “90210” surprised an auditorium filled with hundreds of excited students at Emerson Elementary School with a pajama party and celebration of learning and literacy.

“Yoobi is excited to team up with Mack Wilds to bring cool back to school,” said Wolff.  “We’re thrilled to get the kids excited about learning, reading and being creative. These students are our future leaders and they deserve the right tools to pursue their dreams.” As the assembly ended, Wolff announced that each classroom would receive a Yoobi Classroom Pack filled with an assortment of essential school supplies that they will be able to use to create and learn in the classroom.

A list of the supply pack items can be found here.
