Beloved Davis Middle School teacher, Jose Gonzalez, and his inspirational story of passion for teaching and technology, was featured in a Verizon advertisement shown at an epic concert hosted at SoFi Stadium.

The "Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World” aired on ABC, CBS, FOX, YouTube and iHeartMedia Global Broadcast Special. The concert highlighted heroic health workers worldwide, and called for equitable access to COVID vaccines. The celebration was hosted by Selena Gomez, and featured performances by Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin and H.E.R.
