Dear Compton Unified Families,

Please note the following updated information regarding mask-wearing at District sites.

For Students

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines strongly recommend that students wear the following types of masks: KN95, N95, or KF94. Students should at the very least wear well-fitting masks that have multiple layers, have a nose wire, and are NOT cloth. Compton Unified has already distributed a supply of the recommended masks to students and staff and will continue to provide them on an ongoing basis until no longer required and/or recommended.

For Staff

All District staff are required to wear one of the following types of masks: KN95, N95, KF94. Compton Unified has provided all staff with a supply of KN95, N95, or KF94 masks, consistent with the County mandate. We have also provided all students with a supply of these masks, and will continue to work to provide masks to staff and students on an ongoing basis until no longer required or necessary according to County mandates and recommendations.

Thank you for your partnership as we work together to support the health and wellbeing of our students, employees, families, and community.
